Ken is the principle and founder of Ken’s Inspection Service of Stephens City, VA. He has been involved in various activities involving construction since 1980. By then, Ken had completed his certifications with CABO, BOCA and NEC.

With building activity making a sharp down turn in 1988-89, Ken’s Inspections Service began. First by assisting Berkeley County West Virginia to startup enforcing the WV Uniform Building code and specifically administering the CABO & BOCA codes within the county. In 1991 Ken’s inspections Service was expanded to include the six or seven county area of Virginia and West Virginia.

Continuing education has enhanced Ken's ability to give quality inspections by completing the intensive PROPERTY INSPECTOR’S TRAINING INSTITUTE, INC. course for home inspectors. It also included the CODE ACADEMY OF VIRGINIA training as well as being involved with Virginia update classes on the Codes.
